White Doll Wedding Dress

Description

A white doll wedding dress with short lace sleeves that sit off the shoulder, a fitted stretch bodice and a full skirt of white floral lace, made for wedding scenes, bridal photo shoots and display. Handmade in our studio in Vilnius for 1:6 scale fashion dolls, 11.5-12 in (29-30 cm) tall, such as Barbie® and similar dolls. Dolls and accessories in the photos are not included.

The dress in detail

• Bodice: a plain, fitted band in soft stretch fabric that holds the dress up without straps.
• Sleeves: short, puffed white lace, worn off the shoulder.
• Skirt: full and floor-length on the doll, white floral lace over a white layer, so it stands out from the body and reads as a real gown in photos.
• Colour: white with lace details.
• Material: soft, stretchy fabric with white lace.
• No velcro, snaps or buttons: the doll wedding dress slips on easily and does not mark the doll.
• Neatly finished and double-stitched, so the seams last through many changes.

A doll wedding dress in four sizes

Available for Regular, Curvy, Petite and Tall dolls; choose the doll type in the options. Each size is sewn for its own body, not scaled from another one, so the skirt sits at the waist and clears the hips on every doll. Measurements of the dolls these items fit:

• Regular: bust 12.7 cm (5.0 in), waist 9.1 cm (3.6 in), hips 13.2 cm (5.2 in)
• Curvy: bust 13.3 cm (5.25 in), waist 10.4 cm (4.1 in), hips 15.3 cm (6.0 in)

Not sure which body your doll has? Compare the hips first; the Size Guide shows how to measure a doll with a strip of paper in two minutes and lists which Barbie® body is which size. If she is between two sizes, take the larger one: the fabric has give, and a few millimetres extra are fine.

For weddings, photo shoots and display

This doll wedding dress was made for wedding scenes and special photo shoots. The full lace skirt gives the doll a bridal outline from every angle, and white is the safe colour for a doll on long display: it is dark and bright dyes that can mark a vinyl body over time, and this gown has none. It suits a wedding scene in a dollhouse, a bridal shoot outdoors and a display shelf equally well. Jointed dolls can wear it too, in most cases: the stretch fabric moves with the joints instead of pulling. The hair flowers and other props in the photos are not included.

Care

Gentle hand washing only. Doll clothes are small and delicate, so treat the doll wedding dress like fine lingerie. Keep the dressed doll away from heat and direct sunlight. Between photo shoots, store the gown flat or on a doll hanger so the lace does not crease; our wooden doll hangers are cut for 1:6 scale clothes. If you are unsure, write to us and we will advise.
