What you get

• 1 grey long sleeve T-shirt

The doll long sleeve shirt in detail

• Fabric: heather grey knit with a fine mottled texture.
• Neck: round and close to the neck, like a classic T-shirt.
• Sleeves: long and slim, down to the wrists.
• Length: to the hips, worn loose over the trousers in the photos.
• Easy to put on and take off, for play and for display.

Which Ken® bodies it fits

Male fashion dolls are about half an inch taller than 11.5 in female dolls, with wider shoulders and a straighter torso, so the fit of a top depends on the shoulders and chest rather than the waist. This shirt was made for that 12 in male body, and in the photos it is worn by a jointed male doll. It can also be worn by 11.5 in female dolls.

Mattel has sold Ken® on several bodies over the years, and they are not all the same width. The broad and slim Ken® bodies have not been tested with this shirt. If your doll is from another maker, measure around the chest under the arms and across the back between the shoulder joints, then write to us and we will compare. Our guide to clothes for Ken® and other 1:6 male dolls and the Size Guide explain more.

To measure, take a strip of paper about 1 cm wide; it is easier to handle than a tape measure on such a small body. Wrap it snugly around the chest under the arms, mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure it with a ruler. Do the same across the back, from one shoulder joint to the other.

Casual outfits with a grey doll long sleeve shirt

A plain grey T-shirt goes with almost everything in a doll wardrobe: jeans, light trousers as in the photos, shorts or a jacket on top. It suits casual scenes at home, at school or in the city, in any season. For warmer layers, our blue oversized doll sweater and grey oversized doll sweatshirt have a roomy cut that also fits 12 in male dolls. A sleeveless option is our navy and white striped doll tank top. The trousers in the photos are not included.

Care

Gentle hand washing only. Doll clothes are small and delicate, so treat the doll long sleeve shirt like fine lingerie. Keep the dressed doll away from heat and direct sunlight, and store the shirt flat or on a doll hanger between uses.

Prefer to sew? Our male doll T-shirt sewing pattern has three T-shirts in one download for 12 in male dolls: sleeveless, short sleeve and long sleeve.
